What belongs on a website for a holiday apartment or holiday home
- Availability calendar. Guests see at once whether their dates are free. We embed or link the calendar of your booking system or portal.
- Prices with every item. Price per night by season, final cleaning, tourist tax, minimum stay. When people see everything at a glance, they ask less often.
- Photos of every room. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, balcony, view. Guests want to know how many beds there really are and whether the shower is walk-in.
- Amenities as a list. Wi-Fi, parking, pets, cot, washing machine. As a clear list, so it can be scanned quickly when comparing.
- Location and getting there. Map, distance to the lake, the slopes or the station, notes on key handover.
- Enquiry without detours. A form with arrival, departure and number of guests. That brings direct bookings without commission to a portal.
- Local tips for days out. Your own recommendations for bakers, hiking trails and rainy days. Pages like this get found on Google and are genuinely useful to guests.

Common mistakes on today's websites
- The prices are only in a PDF or not on the page at all, so guests go back to the portal.
- The availability calendar has not been updated for months and shows free days that were booked long ago.
- The photos are small, dark and do not show how many people can sleep there.
Which booking systems can be embedded?
Many hosts already use a system for availability and booking, such as Smoobu or eviivo, or an availability calendar. We embed existing systems so you do not have to maintain things twice. If you have none, you get an availability plan and an enquiry form with travel dates and number of guests. Direct enquiries through your own website save the portals' commission.
What should I watch with prices?
Towards consumers, prices must be stated as total prices. Items such as final cleaning, bed linen or pets should therefore be clearly written out, as should whether a tourist tax is charged on top. A price calculator that works out the total from travel dates and guests answers the most common question before it is asked.
Are there examples?
Our team has built, among others, Entschleunigen im Wendland and the holiday apartment in Jüchen. More projects under references.

Frequently asked questions
Can I embed my calendar from booking portals?
Common booking systems and calendars can be embedded or linked. Which solution suits your apartment, we settle during the build.
Can I change prices and seasons myself?
Yes. In the admin area you manage texts, images and offers yourself, including prices and season notes. We handle layout changes, and 10 minutes per month are included.
I have several apartments. Does that cost more?
Building is free, even with several apartments. Hosting with care will be cheaper than your current hosting, and you will see the exact price for your scope before you commit.
My old site runs until spring. Will I pay twice?
No. Billing only starts when your old contract ends, 5 months after your go-ahead at the latest. Until then the old site can keep running.
