Why businesses leave Wix
- You can't take the site with you. According to the Wix help pages, a Wix website can't be exported and run with another provider, because it has to run on Wix's servers. With us the source code is yours, and you can leave at any time.
- Without a plan, the ads come back. When a Premium plan ends, the site stays online according to Wix, but runs again under a free Wix address with Wix ads.
- Domain and plan run separately. According to Wix, cancelling the plan does not cancel a domain bought through Wix. You switch off its renewal separately.

How the move works

Back up what's there
We capture the text, images and page structure of your Wix site while it's online. Since Wix offers no export of the whole website, we transfer the content.

Rebuild with preview
We build the new website and send you a preview. You only decide once you've seen it finished.

Point your domain
Your domain doesn't have to move. At your domain provider we only change the records that point to the new website. If the domain is with Wix, you'll find the settings in the Domains area of your Wix account.

Check email
Before we change anything, we check where your mailboxes run, so no email gets lost.

Cancel the plan at the end of its term
You cancel your Wix Premium plan, and it keeps running until the end of the paid period. Our billing only starts then, at the latest 5 months after you say yes.
Cancel Wix
You cancel a Premium plan in your Wix account under Premium Subscriptions, through the menu next to the plan. According to Wix, the plan stays active until the end of the billing period and doesn't renew afterwards. This does not cancel a domain with Wix, and you switch off its automatic renewal separately. According to Wix, if you cancel within 14 days of the first purchase, you get a full refund, and the plan ends immediately.

Can I simply export my Wix site?
According to the Wix help pages, no, the website only runs on Wix's servers. That's why we rebuild it and transfer your content. It costs you nothing.
Do I have to take my domain away from Wix?
No. The domain can stay where it is, we just point it at the new website. If you want to move it to us, it's €12 a year per domain.
Do I pay twice while my Wix plan is still running?
No. Our billing only starts when your Wix contract ends, at the latest 5 months after you say yes. Until then the Wix site can keep running.
Can I change texts myself with you, like on Wix?
Yes, you change text, images and pages in the admin area. There is no open website builder. We make layout changes, and 10 minutes a month are included.
