This privacy policy applies to freeehouse.de and freeehouse.com, operated by freeehouse LLC, a sister company of Smith & Victory.

We are glad of your interest in freeehouse. Protecting your personal data is important to us. Here you can find out which data we process when you use this website or contact us.

1. Controller

freeehouse LLC
North Gould Street 30, Suite N, 82801 Sheridan, Wyoming, USA
Email: info@freeehouse.de

Contracts and billing are handled by our sister company, Smith & Victory LLC (same address). We pass data from enquiries, appointment bookings and orders on to it for this purpose, insofar as this is necessary for processing (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave 4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When the website is accessed, Vercel processes technical access data in order to deliver the page and ensure security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Server log files

When you visit the website, information transmitted by your browser is automatically stored in what are known as server log files. This comprises browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources and serves technical delivery and security.

4. SSL and TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (for example name, email address, company and the content of your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry and, where applicable, the initiation of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

6. Enquiries and appointment booking on this website

For enquiries and appointment bookings we use our own system on this website. If you fill in the potential analysis or book an appointment, we process the details you enter there: name, email address, telephone number, company, location and your answers on goal, industry, budget and timing. We use this data to handle your enquiry, organise the appointment and remind you of the appointment.

For this we use the following service providers as processors: Vercel Inc. (USA) for running the website and the booking function, Upstash Inc. (USA) for storing the bookings, Resend Inc. (USA) for sending confirmations and reminders by email, and Zoom Video Communications Inc. (USA) if you book a video appointment. For transfers to the USA we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

To prepare for the conversation we retrieve publicly available information about your company via the Google Places API (Google Ireland Limited), for example address, website and reviews.

If you reach a booking through one of our adverts on Meta (Facebook, Instagram), we transmit the booking in encrypted form (hashed) to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited so that we can measure the success of our advertising (Meta Conversions API). This only takes place insofar as you have consented to it on the respective landing page.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), our legitimate interest in efficient appointment organisation and conversation preparation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for measuring the success of adverts, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

When you submit an enquiry, we also transmit the source through which you came to our website (for example search engine, advert, referral from another website or campaign parameters in the address) and which pages and sections of our website you viewed beforehand, with time, length of stay, scroll depth and clicked buttons, search terms on our website and results from our calculators. We do not record content from form fields in the process. This information is only stored temporarily in your browser's session storage, without cookies and without third-party services, and is only transmitted to us together with your enquiry. Without an enquiry it does not leave your device and is deleted when the browser window is closed. In addition, we count anonymously in local storage how often you have visited our website and the day of your first visit; this information too is only transmitted together with an enquiry. The purpose is to handle your enquiry and improve our offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

7. Local storage in the browser

This website does not set any cookies for analysis or marketing purposes. So that you do not have to retype entries such as your company name in the guarantee contract or your details in the appointment booking, we store them locally in your browser (local storage) on request. This data does not leave your device and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. The legal basis is § 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act).

8. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. After that the data is deleted.

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact us at any time at info@freeehouse.de.

10. Right to object

Insofar as we process data on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

11. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data.

12. Currency of this policy

This privacy policy is adapted as necessary so that it always complies with current legal requirements.
