Good question, we hear it often. The provider is freeehouse LLC, a sister company of Smith & Victory LLC, and our registered office is in Wyoming in the USA. You are still looked after from close by: our German-speaking staff are based in Germany and take care of our customers in Germany. In Switzerland a local team looks after Swiss customers, and we work in the same way for customers in other countries in Europe and around the world.
This changes nothing for you. We are a German team, and we reply to you in your language. You receive a written offer, and exactly what is stated in the offer and the terms and conditions applies. Because we bill as a US company, we do not show any German VAT. Kleinunternehmer (small businesses under German VAT rules) should please check with their tax adviser whether VAT is due for them.
