What belongs on a website for a hotel or guesthouse
- Direct booking. We embed or link your existing booking engine. The button for it is visible on every page.
- Room categories with photos. Each category with size, bed type, amenities and several pictures.
- Breakfast and dining. From when breakfast is served, whether there is a restaurant and who it is open to.
- Location and surroundings. Distance to the station, trade fair, old town or hiking trail, with a map. Business travellers and holidaymakers look for very different things here.
- Packages and offers. Hiking weeks, wellness days, Christmas offers. You manage them yourself in the admin area.
- House info before arrival. Check-in, parking, pets, late arrival. That answers the questions that otherwise end up at reception.
- Several languages. If you have many international guests, plan the most important pages in English too.

Common mistakes on today's websites
- The booking button leads to a portal, so you pay commission for guests who searched for you directly.
- Room photos show old furnishings that have been gone since the renovation.
- Last year's packages are still online.
How do I get more direct bookings?
Direct bookings through your own website save the commission of the booking portals. For that you need a booking process as easy as on the portal, clear prices and a reason to book direct, such as breakfast included or free cancellation until shortly before. We embed existing booking engines.
What helps guests before they arrive?
A digital guest folder with directions, parking, check-in, Wi-Fi, breakfast times and tips for days out saves questions at reception. Our team built a website with winter and summer views for Hotel Willinger Mitte and a digital guest folder for a Posthotel.

Will our booking engine keep working?
Yes. Common booking systems can be embedded or linked. Your routines at reception stay as they are.
Can we manage offers and prices ourselves?
Yes. You manage texts, images, pages and offers yourselves in the admin area. For layout changes, 10 minutes per month are included, and we take care of them.
How does the switch work without the site going down?
Your old site keeps running while we build. If you wish, you see a draft first, and our billing only starts when your old contract ends, 5 months after your go-ahead at the latest.
