What belongs on the website?
- Listen and watch: audio samples right on the page, videos, a selection of photos.
- Dates: upcoming gigs with place and ticket link, which you enter yourself. An archive of past gigs shows experience.
- Booking enquiry: for promoters, weddings, company events, with date, place and type of event.
- Press: press text, downloadable photos, technical details.
- About you or the band: short and personal.
- Links to streaming services and social media.
What have we learned from artists?
In October 2026 we built, among others, websites for a rock band, a singer and wedding celebrant, a storyteller and a conductor with an archive of more than 800 concerts. Three things always mattered:
- 1
Calm instead of effects. The music and the pictures take centre stage.
- 2
Nothing gets lost. Whoever has a big archive wants to keep all of it. Old addresses are redirected.
- 3
Manage it yourself. Artists like to change dates and news themselves, often several times a week.
What about audio samples and videos?
Audio samples can sit directly on your own server and play with a player of our own, without a third-party service. Videos from platforms are only loaded when someone taps play. That is faster and better for privacy.
Do I need the website in English?
If you perform internationally or promoters from abroad enquire, yes. Multilingual websites with a separate address per language are possible with us, with no extra subscription for translation tools.
Which pages do we usually build?
- Home page with an audio sample or video and next dates
- Dates and archive
- Music or works
- About us
- Press
- Booking and contact, Impressum, privacy
What about rights?
For your own music, photos and videos you need the rights of those involved, such as photographers, fellow musicians or labels. For photos of audiences and performances, the right to one's own image applies. More in the guide Images on the website.
Are there examples?
For example the website of the rock band The Pinpricks, of Xenia Busam, Erzählkunst, and of Anna Brunner, violinist in Thun.
We build your artist website for free, with audio samples, dates you manage yourself and, if you wish, in two languages. You only pay for hosting with care, cheaper than today.
What belongs in a press kit?
- a short and a long press text
- high-resolution photos with photographer credit
- contact for press and booking
- a selection of references and performances
- technical details and stage plot for bands
As a page of its own on the website with downloads, that is the most convenient for promoters and editors.
